Those purchase invoices, travel invoices, expense invoices, salaries and periodic tax returns that have not been automatically allocated as paid according to the bank statement, and thus have a payment in the Payment sent to bank status, are compiled on the Payment transactions/Focus payments list.
Transactions that have been paid without a bank reference code or whose payment has failed due to insufficient balance may remain on the list.If the account balance is insufficient to pay the entire instalment, banks will reject all payments included in the instalment.
Payment dates are updated from the payment transactions. The entry date of the transaction on the bank statement is used as the receipt payment date. The program previously used the date on which the payment was sent to the bank.
You should verify the payment transactions on the list from the bank statement. If an invoice has been paid, mark this on its row by clicking on the box in the first column.Mark all paid invoices on the list and finish by clicking on the Adjust selected button at the top of the page. This will change the status of the selected invoices to Paid and remove them from the Focus payments list.If the user does not have access rights to salaries, he or she will only see the salary summary row, which cannot be allocated.
Please note that transactions are shown on the list based on the status of the payment transaction. This means that even if the invoice itself would have been marked as Paid elsewhere, but there's still a payment transaction Payment sent to bank on the invoice, it will appear on the list until the Payment sent to bank transaction is focused through the Focus payments view, or the transaction is removed from the invoice.
The Invoice button will open the details of the invoice on the selected row.
The Accounting button opens the accounting page of the selected invoice.
Note! If your company uses weekly or monthly bank statements, the list will always include transactions that have not yet been acknowledged as paid, since their bank statement has not arrived yet.You should therefore always verify transactions after you receive your bank statement.
If, for some reason, the status of an invoice has not been updated to paid, this can be caused by factors such as the night transfer of payments, for which the payments are only shown on the following day’s bank statement. You should not attempt to pay an invoice again until you have received the bank statement for the payment date and are certain that the payment has not been debited from the account. If the payment account of an unpaid invoice is at Danske Bank, you should not try to pay the invoice again, since Danske Bank will automatically attempt to pay the invoice for three (3) banking days if the account balance was insufficient on the payment date.
Before you can re-queue an invoice for payment, you must cancel its Payment sent to bank status.
