The Management reporting view allows you to monitor the development of the income statement and balance sheet in the selected time period. The report view can be filtered and used for drilling down to receipts at row level. You can access the Management reporting view from the Reports menu.

You can view the income statement or balance sheet data by selecting the desired report view with the Income statement or Balance sheet buttons at the top of the view.
Income statement
Report search criteria
In the Time period search criteria menu, you can choose whether to view the income statement data
- For the current financial period
- For the current year
- For the previous 6 months
- For the previous 12 months
You may also retrieve data from a specified time interval. Enter the start and end date in the Start and End fields manuallu or using Calendar-view and click the Select period button to activate the selection.
In the Comparison time period search criteria menu, you can choose the time interval of the period to compare.
The available options include:
- Same for previous year
- Previous financial year
- manually entered comparison period
If you want to enter the desired comparison period yourself, remember to click the Select period button to activate the selection. If a financial year has not been set for the period in question, the dates of the Time period search criteria will be highlighted in red. Specify the financial year in Management > Accounting info > Financial years.
With the Budget search criteria you can choose which budget file you want to be presented in the graph.
Comparison period and Budget are selected for display using the switch next to the header.
In the Receipt status search criteria menu, you can select Business transactions and/or Other transactions. Business transactions refer to receipts with the status Not sent, Sent, Paid, Approved, Partly paid, Marked paid and Invoiced.
There is an eraser icon, or Clear selections button, at the top right corner of the Receipt status search criteria menu. With this button, you can clear the selections made in the menu in question.
The Clear selections button under the entire search criteria menu clears all of the selections.
The Management reporting view is updated approximately once every three hours between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., if new receipts have arrived in the environment after the last update. The most recent update time is displayed in the top left corner of the report.
Income statement reporting
The top graph in the Income statement view, Sales, displays the development of sales in the selected time period. If a comparison period has been selected, the comparison data will also be displayed in the graph.
You can select the bar chart type in the top right corner of the graph. You can choose to display the data in periodic or cumulative form. You can view the development of sales in the selected period by quarter by clicking on the Show by quarter button.
Clicking on the To details button will allow you to view row information in two different views: Income statement lines and Receipt rows. A new search criteria menu will appear when you are viewing row information: Account, where you can select which accounts you want to view. You can search for accounting accounts using the Search field by entering part of the account number or name. Clicking the search field opens a drop-down list of the accounting accounts that you can select. You can select multiple accounts in the Account search criteria menu by clicking on individual accounts or highlighting them with the left mouse button.
The four key performance indicators for the income statement are presented in boxes at the bottom of the graph.
If the report formulas have not been edited in the environment, the Management reporting view uses the default performance indicators obtained from the default report formulas.
You can change the performance indicators to be displayed via the Accounting reports view by clicking on the Report formulas button. In the Report formulas view, you can select which report formula to use for the income statement’s graphic reports.
You can select the key performance indicators for management reporting by clicking on the Edit report formulas button. In the KPI column, select the performance indicator that you wish to be displayed in each KPI box (KPI1, KPI2, KPI3, and KPI4). If the KPI column is not displayed in the Edit report formulas view, click on the Show graphical report KPI selection button to display it.
The second graph in the Income statement view shows the Income statement data for the selected period. If you have also selected a Comparison period in the search criteria, you can choose whether to display the comparison data with the Show or hide data for comparison period button.
You can select the graph type for the income statement in the top right corner of the graph. You can choose to display the data in horizontal, waterfall or table form.
You can easily export the data from both graphs in the Income statement view into an Excel file using the Excel button in the top right corner of the graph.
Balance sheet
Balance sheet search criteria
In the Period search criteria menu, you can select whether to view the balance sheet data
- As of today (current status)
- At the beginning of the current financial year
- At the end of the previous financial period
- At the end of the previous month
You may also retrieve balance sheet data from a specified time interval. Enter date in the As of date field and click the Select period button to activate the selection.
In the Comparison period search criteria menu, you can choose the time interval of the period to compare.

The graphs in the Balance sheet view present the balance sheet data for the selected period as a graph (top graph) and a table (lower view). If a Comparison period has been selected in the search criteria, the comparison data will also be displayed in both graphs. If you have also selected a comparison period in the search criteria, you can choose whether to display the comparison data with the Show or hide data for comparison period button. You can easily export the data from both graphs in the Balance sheet view into an Excel file using the Excel button in the top right corner of the graph.
The Total assets and Total liabilities boxes in the topmost balance sheet graph are performance indicator fields that you can edit.

You can choose to view the Balance sheet lines graph as change during the selected period using the Show change for the period button. The Show balance at period end button allows you to view the balance at the end of the selected period. You can view the balance sheet information by quarter by clicking on the Show by quarter button. You can exit the balance sheet row information using the Back button.
You can export the balance sheet row information into an Excel file using the Excel button in the top right corner of the graph.
