Information on contracts must be entered under Management > Salary info > Employees' Pension Act-contract so that Employees' Pension Act-contract can be selected for employees.
Employees' Pension Act contracts are added from Management > Salary information > Employees’ Pension Act contracts.
You can enter a new contract by clicking the Add button, which creates a new empty row. Select the pension insurance company from the drop-down list. Select also the Employees’ Pension Act notice type from the drop-down list. The notice type can be Month or Year according to agreement with the pension insurance company. The contract employer enters the contract number in the Contract number field. It is possible to calculate salaries and create notifications without the contact number, but for electronic notification, the contract number is required. You can enter the contract number later, but other contract information should be filled in before calculating salaries.
The contract number must be in the format NN-NNNNNNNT. The maximum length of the contract number is 11 characters, the third of which is a hyphen. If the insurance company gives the number in format NNN-NNNNNNNNN-T, you must drop the prefix (NNN-), add a hyphen as the third character and drop the hyphen at the end before the control character (T).
A temporary employer must add one Employees' Pension Act contract without a contract number. The temporary employer’s notice type is always Month. This contract is selected in the person’s salary info as the Employees’ Pension Act contract. In this case Employees’ Pension Act contribution is always calculated according to the Employees’ Pension Act (TyEL). Procountor’s Employees’ Pension Act notice function creates the information required in the notification, and the notification can be sent to the pension insurance company e.g. though its Internet service. A temporary employer can also arrange the pension insurance for its employees by entering a contract. Then it becomes a contract employer. An employer cannot be a temporary employer and a contract employer at the same time.
If you want to delete a Employees' Pension act contract, select the contract row and click Delete. An Employees’ Pension act contract in use cannot be deleted.
