In the absences view, you can enter the person's absence type, start and end dates and whether the absence accumulates holiday rights.
You can enter absences in the person’s information through Payroll > Payroll (old) > Employee info > Show salary info > Absences. The absence codes affect in creating salary slips, Holiday rights report and Holiday reservation report.
- When creating salary slips and you have salary periods in use and the person’s salary type is monthly salary, the person’s monthly salary is automatically reduced in proportion to the absences. All absences are processed as non-paid time.
- The entered absences are always saved in the person’s salary slip, in field Absences as the amount of absence days.
- If the absence does not accumulate holiday rights, the amount of absence days is subtracted from the amount of days warranting holidays in the salary slip.
