In the New sales invoice view, you can create invoices on the basis of customer, invoice type, or header and row information. In addition to sales invoices, you can also create orders and offers in the New sales invoice view. Invoices can be created on blank templates if desired. You can also use the Import data function to import sales invoices from other systems. The availability of functions depends on the user rights of the user.

Buttons in the New sales invoice view
The Create a new invoice button creates a new sales invoice.
Clicking on the Group invoice function will create a group invoice. The Group invoice function can be used to create one or more invoices simultaneously, for sending to one or more business partners.
Clicking on the Search customer button will let you select customers for the sales invoice from the Customer register.
Clicking on the Search products button will let you select products for the sales invoice from the Product register.
In the Invoice customer and type section, you can select the customer by clicking on the Search customer button and select a receipt type from Sales invoice, Sales order or Offer. You can read more on sales orders and offers here. Information such as the address, term of payment, invoice channel, language, etc., are imported into the sales invoice template from the Customer register.
In the Invoice title information section, you can select the desired Invoice date. If a bank account number has been selected for the customer, it will be imported onto the invoice. If a supplier account number has not been selected, the first bank account number in Basic company information will be imported. The information can then be complemented and edited if needed.
In Invoice row information, you can choose whether the Invoice product rows will be Inserted manually or Searched from the product register.
If you opted to Search from the product register, you can use the Search products button to select the products for the invoice from the Product register.
If you are attempting to create an invoice for a month whose VAT notification has already been filed, the program will notify you of this when you save the invoice. If default products have been specified for the customer, these will be automatically added to the invoice.
The sales invoice can also be created on a blank template. In that case, just click on the Create new invoice button in the New sales invoice view. Fill in the invoice recipient’s information, payment terms and other details next. If you leave the Billing address field empty, the information will be copied from the Customer address fields. As invoices created on an empty template can later be allocated to the appropriate customer by clicking on the More actions button in the Search view and selecting Adjust to business partner.
