The Business partner report section allows you to print reports on business partners specified by several different search conditions.
To be able to run a business partner report for certain business partner type, the user must have at least Viewing rights to Register/Customer register, Purchases/Supplier register and/or Payroll/Person register.
In the upper section of the view, you specify first, which business partner types you are searching, the sort order, printout format and search conditions. In addition, you have to define whether the conjunction between the criteria is “and” or “or”, i.e. whether partner X belongs to groups A and B or groups A or B. If the company has two-levelled business partner groups in use, it is also possible to search by the main group.
You can include the * and ? characters in text search. The * character represents any character string (also blank), and ? represents any single character.
The Active/Inactive selection specifies whether you search all, active or inactive business partners.
The person in charge and status selections can be used in searches on the basis of the Customer management (CRM) information.
In the lower section of the view, in Register info you can select the fields you want to show on the report.
The Search business partners button runs the report.
The Select all fields button selects all fields from the Register information list.
The Clear fields button clears all selections.
The Back button takes you back to the Register reports view.
Finally, you select the information sort order and the report format: HTML, Excel or the Detailed report, through which you can drill down to business partner register information.
The report format Detailed report opens a new page with a list of business partner information. You can sort the information by the column, when you click the column header.
The Show basic info button opens the selected business partner’s basic info view.
The Show management button opens the selected business partner’s Management view.
The Default products allows you to view default products entered to the business partner.
The HTML button opens the report in HTML format, e.g, for printing.
The Excel button opens the report in the spreadsheet application.
It is not possible to print out business partners’ address labels from Procountor directly.
However, you can produce the labels by using the Excel print out format of the Business partner report. Select the business partners that you want. From the register info, select the fields you want (name and address or name and billing address). Select printing format Excel. When you click the Search business partners button, you get an Excel sheet with columns Name, Specifier, Street address, post code, City and Country. You can print this information on labels using the label printing functions of Microsoft Office. The details of label printing functions depend on the version of the Office package in use.
