In the New purchase invoice view you can create an invoice starting from the suppler and invoice type and the header and row information. You can also start from an empty invoice entry view.

The buttons in the New purchase invoice view
The Create a new invoice button creates a new purchase invoice.
By clicking the Bar code button you can save the purchase invoice in the system . Read more about the Barcode .
The Search supplier button enables you to browse the Supplier register and select the supplier for the purchase invoice.
In the Invoice supplier and type section, you can select the supplier by clicking the Search supplier button and selecting one of the Receipt types Purchase invoice or Purchase order. You can read more about the purchase order here. Information such as the address, term of payment, invoice channel, bank account number, etc. are added to the invoice view from the supplier register.
In the Invoice title info section, you can select the required Invoice date. If a bank account number has been selected for the supplier, that is used. If not selected, the first bank account number in the Company basic info is retrieved. The information can be complemented and edited if needed.
In the Invoice row info section you can select from the drop-down list of the Invoice product rows field, whether to Insert manually or Search from product register.
If you selected the option Search from product register from the drop-down list in the Invoice row info section, you can use the Search products button to select the products from the Product register to the purchase invoice.
The purchase invoice can also be entered in the empty invoice view. In the New purchase invoice view, start by clicking the Create a new invoice button. Then, enter the bank account number and other beneficiary information in the invoice. If you leave the Invoicing address empty, the information will be copied from the Customer address fields.
Search the supplier from the register, click the Select business partner button and select receipt type Purchase invoice. Information such as the address, term of payment, bank account number, etc. are retrieved from the business partner register. The invoice date and due date will be left empty. The information can be complemented and edited if needed.
The invoice can also be entered in the empty invoice view. In that case, click the Create on an empty template button, select receipt type Purchase invoice and click the Continue button. Then, the supplier information, invoice date, bank reference code, term of payment, etc. are filled in on the invoice template. An invoice created on an empty template can be targeted later at the required supplier through the Receipt search using the Additional functions button, and selecting option Focus to business partner.
